Corsair Vengeance K70 review -
Product Showcase
The wrist rest. You don't have to use it as you can clip it on or off, but admittedly it is quite comfortable to use it during gaming. The surface is made using somewhat dimpled rubber that helps ventilate and grip your wrist even when it is sweating. The rest itself is made out of plastic, for both gaming and productivity it feels good. It depends on personal preference whether or not you'll use this rest.
All keys on the K70 have little back-light LEDs, these are partially configurable. With the two buttons located at the top you can choose to en/disable them all or just have the WASD and 1 to 6 keys lit up. You can dim the keys in three stages as well.
So here we have them lit up diffused, and now lets make them a little brighter.
As you can see, now there's much ambient back-lighting on, based on your preferences you can light up the keys in three dimmed stages. The brightest mode as shown above can actually be too bright at twilight and night time I feel. It's great to have that otpion really. This all certainly brings a little niche to the K70. It's good looking set of keys alright.
As stated you can also opt to just enable the WASD, arrow and numeric keys. Overall a great looking motherboard. Sturdy design, the wrist rest, the mechanical keys, the anodized black aluminum finish just makes this keyboard pop out.
Also I need to mention that the keys can be individually lit. You hit the backlight program button, then select the keys you want lit, and done. As simple as that.It all works out well.
Dammit - I was going for Guru3D all lit up. The querty order is just too illogical :) A note on backlit keys. Numbers across the top of the keyboard are more dim than the alphabet keys and the function keys a row above. It looks like this is because the top portion of the key is where the LED is located, so keys with multiple functions (like number keys where pressing [SHIFT] allows you to type a different character) are slightly more dim in the bottom half. But what about functionality and usage you might wonder ?

Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 6000 CL36 review
In July, Corsair presented a new series of DDR5 memories: the Vengeance RGB DDR5. The available kits from the RGB edition have a frequency higher than the base 4800 MHz (5200-6600 MHz); the non-RGB version starts from 4800 MHz. We are checking the Corsair Vengeance RGB 6000 MHz CL36 DDR5 kit today. It's in the middle frequency in the series. We already had an opportunity (almost three years ago) to review the Vengeance (Pro) RGB series RAM, but it was for the DDR4; the frequency was 3200 MHz, and it received a "Top Pick" award, and also the Vengeance RGB Pro SL which had 3600 MHz frequency (with CL18) and got the "Approved" award. But let's focus back on the tested DDR5 kit.
