Once connected and the PC powered up... subtlety. No flashing bright LEDs, just three tiny white LEDs indicating caps-lock, scroll-lock and Num-lock. The windows lock mode key lights up with a diffused dim blue led light once activated.
There's not much going on at the backside. We mentioned the rubber feet already. You can use standoffs as well to allow a little more height. Both the upper and lower sides have these available. Use all four and you will loose that rubber grip though, making the keyboard slide real easy. I personally lift the top side and use the bottom rubber feet.
The keyboard uses a dark, nicely braided cable roughly two meters in length. It is however very thick, something I personally do not like. What's the reason for that you might wonder ? Well, you probably spotted it already but there are two USB connectors at the end of the cable. One is for the keyboard of course, the other is being used as a pass-through. Let me show you that:
So here you can see that, the backside of the keyboard has a USB port on it to plug in your mouse or flash drive which is a nice feature.
