The Corsair Strafe RGB MK.2 keyboard arrived in a colorful cardboard box that shows its design, style and lighting, flanked by the list of main features and some icons. The reviewed model has similar ones’ as other keyboards in Corsair lineup, so Cherry MX switches, 1000Hz polling, full-key rollover and full anti-ghosting.

Inside, we find the keyboard protected by a cardboard frame and a transparent plastic bag (sorry, I removed it, to have clear shot).

Strafe MK.2 is made of quality black plastic (with aluminum top plate) with dimensions of 447 x 168 x 40 mm (length, width, height) and a weight of 1.46 kg. It is robust and very well finished. Keycaps are made of ABS (not PBT), but should be enough for most users.

Additionally, inside we can find the user guide, warranty card, and a removable wrist rest. In two separate plastic bags, there is an extraction clamp for the keys and two alternative sets with a rough gray surface focused on games (FPS and MOBA).

Detachable wrist rest is made of plastic, there are no rubber accents like in MK.1. I’m afraid that during long, sweaty sessions (yeah, I know how that sounds, haha) in summer that can be an issue, your wrists can slip off. Nevertheless, it should do its job good most of the time. You can also see that space bar has a roughened texture.
