The rear of the case is... well, the rear of the case. The back 120mm slot houses your second HD120 fan. The PCIe covers are removable, but if they weren't on a case that costs 150 USD and beyond, I wouldn't even look twice..!

Case1---12

I have seen plenty of cases with especially diminutive or tiny feet, which mean that they do not sit especially high off the floor (particularly when weighed down with hardware). This creates some problems. The first is PSU breathing room. Nearly all modern cases are designed so that the power supply sucks in air from below the case, with its fan facing down. If the bottom of the case is close to the floor, then your PSU is going to have a bad time. The second (and admittedly more 'niche' issue) is if you have no choice but to put your case on a carpet. Normally we would advise against this, but if you have to, you want your PSU and it's dust filter to have as much leeway as possible. It's good, therefore, to see that the Omega RGB is propped by by some very space age looking feet. The give the chassis significant ground clearance, all whilst maintaining the theme of the case, which in my opinion is very sci-fi in nature.

A small but vital point before we move on. The glass panel must, naturally, be held on by something. So why, I cry, did Corsair decide to go with the same mounting system that they used for the 275R? It was one of the few genuinely negative things I had to say about that chassis, and it makes another appearance here. Not only is the mechanism for mounting the glass not captive (aka. lie your case flat), but other manufacturers have managed to either at least make their's captive, or invented a new mechanism for mounting the glass. A good example would be CoolerMaster's new H500 range, that includes a 90 degree locking nut that is turned after the glass is put into position.

With the exterior given the once over (and me having vented a small annoyance), shall we crack her open? Well, not crack. It's glass, but you get my point I hope.
