Let’s see what this mouse looks like.
The mouse is based on the 18,000 DPI PMW3391 sensor, and comes with a total of seventeen (that’s right!) programmable buttons. The surface is quite pleasing to the touch, finished in matte black, with a single Corsair logo at the rear (it can be lit up by the RGBs).
The provided cable is 1.8 m long, and it’s braided. The USB connector does look solid.
The Corsair SCIMITAR RGB ELITE is intended for right-handed people with a palm grip.
The housing is asymmetrical, and the side buttons are located only on the left. There are three rows, each with four buttons. Half of the buttons are textured, and half are smooth. You can move them to your preference (e.g. to the back of the “shell”, like in this example photo).
The SCIMITAR RGB ELITE is a medium-sized mouse but, as mentioned earlier, intended only for palm grippers.
The Corsair K70 RGB Pro keyboard is the one we’re reviewing today. It’s not the first one from the K70 series checked on guru3d. Previously those were K70 RGB Rapidfire Mk2, also in a low-profile version, and as a TKL, so overall, there shouldn’t be any significant surprise as far as the general concept goes. Corsair K70 RGB Pro takes some K100 RGB and (most of) K70 RGB TKL CHAMPION (already mentioned) features. The suffix “Pro” wasn’t used yet, so probably it was the right time for that.
