So then, here we have the packaging so you know what to look for in the stores. The PSU inside is packaged nicely and protected in a carton and soft foam. The RM750i Gold seems to resemble  HX series a little, with the main changes being a 80 PLUS Gold product with configurable rails, low noise levels and LINK. The PSU is fan-less to 40% load, which is a really nice feature we think. That means up-to 300 Watts this PSu is inaudible to your ears.

The PSU and cables all come in a carton packaging protected with plastic. The PSU is protected by a plastic bag and then a pouch and the modular cables can be found in a separate bag as well. It is a very sturdy packaging ensuring its safe transportation.

Delivered with the PSU are the simple basics like power cable, manual and screws. As stated, this is a 100% modular model. So you will receive plenty of cables. We'll sort them out on the next page though as we need to tell a tale or two about them. Overall you can expect an AC power cable, a few cable ties, four black mounting screws, a simple enough manual and warranty guide, as well as an advertising leaflet with some Corsairs more trendy products. The backside, yup is 100% modular.

The one thing that has changed are the aesthetics, yellow is out (aside from packaging) and the new design is all black and white, and that is a k
iller look eh ? I like it very much. The PSU breathes this matte finish with dark theme. The PSU is obviously ready for all current CPU & GPU generations and offers high capacity on its multi/single +12V rail (configurable) which is great for multi-GPU graphics solutions or really high end graphics cards. At the front and top side you will see a honeycomb air vent; it allows for optimal airflow running through the PSU, cooling down its components and keeping them nicely efficient. Also, obviously we spot the power connector and the on/off switch.
