Here we can see the left side panel, again with the quick release hinges. The backside itself reveals a thing or two as well.

Next to the rear IO we spot a 120mm fan. All three fans in this chassis can be PWM fan controlled, in fact the 650D has the cutest little fan controller hidden away which we'll show you later on. Next to the 8 card slots we see two grommet holes, these could be used for some sort of external liquid cooling, the reality is though that here you can lead out USB 3.0 front panel cables that need to be connected to the rear IO. We do hope with the next revision of Corsair chassis that they will move to the standard internal USB 3.0 connector as designed and form factored by Intel.

On top we see a huge mesh. Great ventilation, and the Obsidian 650D even comes with a 200mm fan installed there. Again, it can be fan controlled by the chassis. Obviously you can go nuts with other fans here as well as installing a LCS (liquid cooling system) radiator. A dual 120mm radiator would be a breeze to install for sure.

At the front top we stumble into a latch, push it backwards and a HDD/SSD docking bay becomes apparent. There's a little spring based retention clip there in the 2.5" position, that way you can easily insert an SSD. Push the clip to the left and you can insert a 3.5" storage unit. All SATA connector based by the way. Internally one SATA cable leads to the motherboard and one power cable leads to your PSU.

Now, if we zoom in a little further we can spot a button that can be switched into three positions, low, medium and high. Correct, that is the fan controller. It feeds off one Molex connector and then the three fans that this chassis houses are connected to this unit. Very simple, VERY effective. of course you can lead the fans to your own fan controller or motherboard as well to control them, they all have regular 3-pin fan headers.
