At the left read side there is space for your storage units, with easy drive installation. Let me zoom in on the securing mechanism first though.

You can easily insert and/or remove these. You place the HDD in a tray, slide it backwards in the cage and secure it with the hinge. It is as simple as that. The HDD or SSD mounts itself in rubber inserts.

Once mounted you just slide in your SSD or HDD, it really is that simple. The 250D comes standard with one cage which supports two 3.5 inch and another two 2.5 inch drives. You could alternatively mount 2.5" SSDs on the 3.5" trays as well with some screws. So in theory you could mount even 4 SSDs here.

You will spot room for one optical drive bays (5.25"), it features a latch that has an "open" and "lock" position. You simply pull and release the latch.

Mounting a 5.25" device could not be any easier - just line up the holes on the optical drive you just inserted into the case and when you hear a click the pin locks have secured the device.
