Final words and conclusion

This is a line I used in a previous review before, but any decent gaming mouse these days itself really is not an evolutionary upgrade or anything, we, however, do feel that the M65 Elite offers extra TLC. The thumb sniping button, the RGB lighting, the rugged feel, the aluminum housing, the weight system, the braided cable and the ability to tweak the mouse with iCUE software really transforms the 59 bucks costing M65 a value product for any avid gamer.

Feel and experience

The overall feel of the mouse is good as well as it is comfortable, I do think that people with slightly above average large hands will like the mouse really well as it is a hint bulky. No biggy if you have small hands, but it is something I noticed a couple of times. The hardware of the mouse is excellent, the design of the mouse is good and comfortable, and you get a mouse with extensive software options, enough buttons that are programmable, it has cool looks and even has an adjustable weight system. We did not experience lag or input issues, but with an 18K DPI mouse, I fail to see how that would be possible anyway. The DPI values are a bit e-peen really among the Corsair competitors, but that certainly doesn't make this a lesser mouse right? The mouse is connected with one USB cable, braided and is roughly a 2m cord.

Overall it just is very good build quality, we get to have the 18,000 DPI optical engine, multiple macro profiles selectable by a button, hardware DPI selection and really that funky Sniper button. The mouse does not feel cheap and is simply downright comfortable to use. The buttons and Omron based switches offer good feedback and response.

Concluding

What can I say... it's a mouse, albeit a damn good one for the 59 USD/EUR price tag. It sits well (at least in my hands) feels right in weight, has funky RGB going on and is very programmable with iCUE. You also can sync it all up if you stick to the Corsair brand product of course, and that does add value to your immersive gaming experience. For a mouse, it feels and acts precise and is very fast in scanning.  For those that find the mouse a hint heavy but thanks to the removable weights well, you can eliminate that problem as well. The Corsair M65 RGB Elite mouse is available in black and a white edition. We could nag about minor intricacies likely the aluminum frame not being black and the weigh system screws are a bit clumsy to remove but really, what would I be complaining about. At prices of prices to 59 USD I feel these puppies are offering fantastic value and are great gaming mice, for any type of game even. The new M65 Elite is one of the best gaming mouses we have ever used. All the lights are green, or any configurable color of preference ;)  Snipe away my man, you are really going to like this one.
