Much like all Corsair keyboards, and a bit of a signature, media keys, missing however is that good old aluminum volume roller. You now get physical buttons for that. For media control you have the three standard volume, stop, back, play/pause, and forward buttons. All the way up top are three extra keys. The M button is a macro recording button, the middle one controls the RGB LED brightness and the right side button is the lock is the Windows key lock. The top side of the keyboard is made of plastic, in fact, all of it is. That as well is a difference compared to the premium keyboards.

One more photo of the G-keys. Program them with macros, tie them to the Elgato stream deck, whatever you want. They are very handy, but I do wish there would have been a little more space in between the G keys and say CTRL on the left side. Whenever I use copy-paste I kept hitting the G6 keys as opposed to the left side SHIFT and CTRL button. Then again, keyboards can be very personal. These things take some time to accustomed to.

At the bottom side, we stumble into two standoff feet so that you can position the keyboard angled upwards. Is there any person who does not use this? As stated lacking on the backside is the USB HUB.

The included wrist rest is a cheaper plastics one, compared to the premium version you see on say the K100. It works well though, nicely rugged and easy to attach and detach.

Corsair K70 PRO RGB keyboard review
The Corsair K70 RGB Pro keyboard is the one we’re reviewing today. It’s not the first one from the K70 series checked on guru3d. Previously those were K70 RGB Rapidfire Mk2, also in a low-profile version, and as a TKL, so overall, there shouldn’t be any significant surprise as far as the general concept goes. Corsair K70 RGB Pro takes some K100 RGB and (most of) K70 RGB TKL CHAMPION (already mentioned) features. The suffix “Pro” wasn’t used yet, so probably it was the right time for that.
