Product Showcase

The core and fundamental features of a keyboard like the in the K series from corsair, always have had that same look and feel. But yeah, for the K100 RGB a lot has changed, despite the fact you immediately get that Corsair design feel when you look at it. You're going to notice that the 'word/name' Corsair now is missing, just the logo has been embedded very subtly.

Unpacking shows the bundle kit, the keyboard, an all-newly designend wrist rest, and a manual/warranty guide. The K100 RGB is marketed as a gaming keyboard of course. Btw, some extra rugged keycaps have been included as well as a keycap puller for the WASD zone. The RGB lights can be dimmed colored and even configured on a per-key basis. Og and get this, the RGB is 44-zone with three-sided LightEdge. Dimming can now be done with the multifunctional ICUE dial. It's the 1st preset of many this dial has to offer. We'll show you the keyboard powered on over the next few pages of course.  Not digging iCUE? With Function key combinations, you can still rotate lighting options. And considering you can save all your macros and profiles into the keyboard, it'll be less dependant of it.

If the right side numeric keys weren't chopped off and hey now, we get six G keys for some profile and macro fun. The looks definitely share the DNA of Corsairs' keyboards. Perhaps you have noticed it? The keys now have a new font, this one is more clean and clear to read actually. The keycaps need a word or two as well, these are double-shot PBT keycaps. And yeah, 4,000Hz polling / 4,000Hz key scanning and you can simultaneously drive up to 20-layer lighting effects all simulations thank due to the new Axon processor used.

Deeply immersed in the eco-system thus is RGB backlighting, configurable, and everywhere, of course. Any and every key can be manually colored if you'd like to do that. However, there are multiple zones you can program. If you look to the right and left sides you can see zones, but also at the backside.

And yeah, once we hook that USB cable in, the product light up. It's a fantastically looking design. The wrist rest can be detached easily. Personally, I find these great for gaming, but typing an article like this for that I remove it. It's magnetically attached and fast to attach/detach. Good stuff.

In this article, we review the Corsair Katar Pro Wireless mouse. It’s an optical gaming mouse that was launched on 6.10.2020. It’s a new version of the Katar model, which was introduced 5 years ago. The Katar Pro Wireless is rather targeted at gamers, but it should also work more than fine as a regular mouse.
