Product Showcase - Exterior

The looks are sweet alright, the tempered glass gives it that marvelous look and feel. The top side cover is kept in place with mounts, if you look closely at the bezel, there is spacing left in-between the edges for lots of airflow. The 7000X provides plenty of space for radiators and can support many case fans. The chassis has a modest size of 550mm x 248mm x 600mm/ 20.47in x 9.65in x 20.47in. Motherboard form factors supported are E-ATX, ATX, microATX, and when you think about it, how cute would that look ... Mini-ITX. Out of the box, the Corsair 7000X looks a lot like a larger version of the 5000D.

At the backside we see eight plus three expansion slots, dual-slot cards can be set up in Crossfire or SLI mode as well (albeit that went the way of the dodo), one card could be mounted vertically (you'd need a riser cable of course). All the way below we see the PSU section. PSU wise, you name it... it'll fit as we'll show you later on, however, likely an HDD tray needs to be removed to actually be able to mount a long PSU. The chassis at default is fitted with 3x 140mm m SP RGB ELITE fans. A cable management system makes it effortless to route major cables through a single channel, with at least 25mm of routing depth behind the motherboard. The bottom PSU bay sits underneath a shroud and comes with two sets of mounting holes.

At the top, the front panel connectivity can be found, including 4x USB 3.x, 1x USB 3.2 Type C, power, reset, headphone/mic. and that's it. New is the yellow-colored USB port, that matches the Corsair signature theme. The glass panels of the Corsair 7000X are one of the cleanest looking available, a notch heavier tinted, which I do like.

Everything is detachable, the entire front glass bezel can be pulled out, and then you can reach the dust filter. The top glass panel can simply be lifted out, giving you access to the dust filter and very quickly the ability to install, say, an LCS radiator.

Something I deem to be sweet, the side glass panel is actually a door, just pull it towards you and open it up. Corsair includes push pins on each side, which is excellent if you need to quickly access the interior. Very nicely hinged.

Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 6000 CL36 review
In July, Corsair presented a new series of DDR5 memories: the Vengeance RGB DDR5. The available kits from the RGB edition have a frequency higher than the base 4800 MHz (5200-6600 MHz); the non-RGB version starts from 4800 MHz. We are checking the Corsair Vengeance RGB 6000 MHz CL36 DDR5 kit today. It's in the middle frequency in the series. We already had an opportunity (almost three years ago) to review the Vengeance (Pro) RGB series RAM, but it was for the DDR4; the frequency was 3200 MHz, and it received a "Top Pick" award, and also the Vengeance RGB Pro SL which had 3600 MHz frequency (with CL18) and got the "Approved" award. But let's focus back on the tested DDR5 kit.

Corsair Katar Elite Wireless mouse review
In this article, we review the Corsair Katar Elite Wireless mouse. It’s an optical gaming mouse that was launched today, on 26.10.2022. The Katar model is a new version of the Katar Pro Wireless that was introduced on October 2020. The Katar Elite Wireless is targeted at gamers, but it should also work more than fine as a regular mouse. This time, the optical sensor is not the 10K DPI PMW3325 but a 26K DPI Corsair Marksman. It has 1 DPI resolutions steps, 650 IPS tracking, and up to 50G acceleration.

Corsair HS55 Wireless Core Headset review
Corsair has a broad range of PC components and peripherals. Among them, headsets are also available, and the range starts from the budget-oriented HS series (the reviewed one is one of them), then there’s the mid-range Void series, and it ends with high-end Virtuoso. Getting back to the HS series, it starts with HS35, and till now, it also contained HS45, HS50, HS55, HS60, HS65, HS70, HS75, and HS80 (some of them had different variants). We’re checking out the all-new Corsair HS55 Wireless Core in this review. Its debut is on the 20th of September, 2022.
