80 bucks for the HS70 seems rather reasonable. The sturdy, yet lightweight design features slim-profile oval ear cups with on-ear controls and internal memory foam. The HS70 has two neodymium (magnet) 50 mm drivers, and that usually makes the best sound for me. They provide good volume levels and clarity with some bass distortion.

The ear-cups on the HS70 are big and padded, with accent stitching on the headband, premium soft-touch materials, and real metal grills on the outside. To ensure durability, a high-quality metal internal headband and aluminum yokes provide exceptional strength.

Overall, the cups are comfortable to wear, even for a guy with a relatively big head, like me. Head sizes do differ, but most users will probably find they fit. The rotating knob is for volume control. The button below is for mic muting, and there is also a Micro-USB port for charging the battery (which takes about half an hour for a full charge). You can place the wireless USB adapter in your PC’s USB port. Should your battery deplete during use, you can just plug the headset into the USB port and continue using it while charging.

The wireless performance is good, with a range of about 10 meters. If you go out of range, there's no quality loss and the device simply either works or it doesn't. The USB wireless system has a downside as you can't connect these headphones to your HiFi equipment at all, so it’s only for PC usage. It would be good if Corsair moved towards the more widely compatible Bluetooth standard, as I’d gladly use HS70 with my mobile.

At the other side, the microphone can be attached to a standard jack covered by a removable rubber tab. The included mic is great and it has Discord Certification. As for the rubber tab, you need to be careful not to lose it. And of course, there is the main feature – the on/off button for the headset.

The headband uses memory foam, so it should adjust to the shape of your head with the help of the heat generated by your body. If you are a big guy (like me), you can adjust the headset and position the cups a bit lower/higher depending on the size of your head and your preferences of course. There is certainly one downside; the cups cannot be rotated, but this shouldn’t be an issue for most users.
