Once unpackaged, you'll see the frame is steel and feels sturdy; the ear cups are padded with memory foam. The cups themselves use the thin rubber layer that many people dislike; they often degrade after a year or two and hefty usage. At one point, Corsair used cloth lining there, which IMHO would be a better alternative.

This headset has two proper 50mm drivers. The neodymium (magnet) drivers deliver a very decent volume level with little distortion in bass whilst offering proper clarity (if you keep things relatively normal with your soundcard or iCUE EQ).  To the left, the rotating knob is for volume / up /down. The button below is for mic muting. Below is the USB connection slash charge connector. Then a 3.5mm plug for your passively powered preferences, and below that is the MIC connector. To the right, the on/off button is here. To pair Bluetooth, press and hold it until the small LED colors red/blue. Then connect your smartphone or something when blue; you have a Bluetooth connection.

The microphone itself can be attached and plugs into a standard jack covered by that removable rubber cover lined in yellow to the photo's far left.

The headband is sturdy, nicely padded with foam, nice black earcups as well. The outside earcups have a bit of a meshed theme going on; it's only for aesthetics purposes. I like the dark Corsair logo, which is non-intrusive and subtle in my book.

You can see the MIC input, detachable, meaning you can detach the mic and wear this unit wherever you go without a broomstick.
