Specification and Unboxing

The HS70 Bluetooth comes in a carefully packaged box. The risk of damage will be minimal. Inside its packaging, you will find the headset, cables, mic as well, as a small guide.

HEADPHONE

  • Warranty – Two years
  • Frequency Response – 20Hz – 20 kHz
  • Impedance – 32k Ohms @ 1 kHz
  • Drivers – 50mm
  • Connector  – 3.5mm

MICROPHONE

  • Type – Unidirectional noise canceling
  • Impedance  -2.0k Ohms
  • Frequency Response  -100Hz to 10kHz
  • Sensitivity – -40dB (+/-3dB)

Wireless or not, in the packaging, you will find the Corsair headset and also roughly 1.5m of USB cable (cloth braided), quick start guide, info leaflet, and warranty card (you receive a two-year warranty with this product).

The new design is a bit sleeker, sharper. There are no RGB effects to be found, likely for better usage time of the battery, rated at a pretty staggering 30 hours of usage. And yeah, don't slip this info to Corsair, though, but RGB on a headset, who needs that anyway, right? Shhh.

You'll spot some extra cables inside the packaging; a USB Soundcard is embedded inside the headset; you optionally can use it by connecting the USB cable to your computer. You can also connect a 3.5mm plug towards your soundcard/motherboard sound solution. So no more USB dongles.

Here's that UEB cable; btw there still are paper wrappers around the cables to protect the aluminum finish of the premium looking connectors. The advantage when using this cable is that you can use iCUE control as well. In iCUE you can choose surround modes, and equalizer control, or several sound presets.

But yeah, enough about cables, this thing offers Bluetooth, yo!
