The HS55 Wireless Core earcups are big and padded with breathable cloth fabric. Equipped with a stress-free floating headband design – it adjusts very well to the size of the head. The feel of the headset is very nice; the HS55 Wireless Core feels well made, comprising some sturdy plastics that don’t feel rough to the touch. It is a clever design as it makes the headset look premium while keeping the price of materials relatively low, and we really like the resultant look of the overall package.

You can find the Corsair name on top of the headband and the logos on the earcups.

Overall, the cups are very comfortable to wear, even for a guy with a relatively big head, like me. Head sizes differ, but most users will probably find that they fit. The adjustable (leatherette) memory foam ear pads and the adjustable headband does their job well.

On the left side, you can see an HS55 name, a mute mic button, then the volume control/EQ select, and below them, the charging port.

There’s a Bluetooth Multi-Function button on the right side, the headset status LED, and a power button.

The headband uses memory foam, so it should adjust to the shape of your head with the help of the heat generated by your body. The HS55’s headband is also reinforced with metal, which means it’s super durable – and while there’s no RGB on offer, it isn’t too much of a loss,

The mic is not removable (it’s hinged). To mute the mic, you need to flip it up.
