Final words and conclusion

The Harpoon RGB wireless is the next-gen mouse that shows us that wireless does not necessarily have to mean inferior. On the contrary: highest-quality wireless connection, very good performance, good main buttons, as well as high functionality and versatility are features that very few devices can boast. We also like the fact that Corsair, as well as other manufacturers, are making bolder moves on the precarious ground, which until recently was wireless communication technology. Considering the number of skeptical players on the market, we have no doubt that it’s not an easy direction to pursue, but Corsair is doing so with confidence. Essentially, the Harpoon RGB wireless is not a breakthrough product. Still, we have no doubt that it’s one of the fastest-charging mice, and it can provide over 30-35 hours of trouble-free gameplay (provided that the backlight is off). The software has matured and works well, whereas the mouse itself looks good. Today, it is one of the most precise and affordable cordless mice for gamers. You need to remember that you get all of this for just 49.99 EUR/USD. Corsair did a nice job here as this thing is very, very precise. 10K DPI precise, to be more specific, and the laser sensor used really seems impressive.

The hardware seems to be of good quality, the design of the mouse is ergonomic and comfortable, and you get a mouse with plenty of software options and six buttons that are programmable. The mouse can be connected with a USB cable (braided and 1.8 m long). The mouse does not feel cheap. The buttons provide good feedback when pressed, and offer a good response. I also wanted to make a note of the software. I have seen it evolve from average to really good, the state of the software as it is now. It is impressive to see the constant development, it’s easy to work with, and updated the mouse firmware all by itself.

Conclusion

You get a 10K DPI wireless gaming mouse for 49.99 EUR with iCUE software included in the bundle. That is a great offer. The Corsair Harpoon RGB Wireless Gaming Mouse looks and feels more expensive than it is. It’s light but not to the point of feeling cheap and flimsy. The build quality and ergonomics are simply excellent. The mouse features textured, molded rubber side grips that have a concave, scooped-out shape that lets you get a firm hold that won’t slip. The sides flare out toward the bottom, creating a slight platform to rest your thumb and fingers on. The main drawback is the one-button DPI selector. For the money, you receive a complete and precise gaming mouse with a nice software suite that goes along with it. Recommended by Guru3D.com.
