As always, the packaging, everything is packaged, cushioned and bundled safely in the box. Let's open it up though.

Once unboxed you'll spot the liquid cooling unit consisting out of the radiator, fan, tubing, pump/cooling block. Most pre-fitted and ready to use of course. Basically, you will need to install/mount the fans and a bracket to secure the unit. But you know what, you are visiting Guru3D.com, so we'll show you that all over the next few pages.

You'll spot a back plate that supports a wide variety of CPU sockets. Intel LGA 115x, 1366, 2011, 2066 and AMD AM2, AM3, AM4, FM1, FM2 based processors can be used in combination with this cooler.  Mind you that an AMD sTR4 bracket will be available as an optional accessory in Q1 2018.

 Included are:

  • CORSAIR Hydro Series H115i PRO Low Noise 360mm RGB Liquid CPU Cooler
  • Mounting kit for most modern CPU sockets
  • Two ML Series PWM 140mm high-performance fans
  • USB cable for CORSAIR LINK Integration
  • Fan and radiator mounting screws
  • Thermal compound (pre-applied)
  • Quick Start Guide

So summed up, once unboxed you'll spot the cooling unit consisting of the radiator assembly, fan and brackets + back plate that support a very wide range of AMD and Intel processors. A little thermal paste is pre-applied on the cooler for you.

Here we have the package showing radiator unit and block/pump, we'll need to mount the variable PWM ML series fans (140mm). The fans are re-wired onto one connector and are controlled by an RPM/PWM controller that resides on the cooling block. With Corsair's LINK software you can (alternatively by default) regulate it and setup you RPM preferences. We'll show that later on in the article, in a chapter about the LINK software.
