Corsair Gaming GLAIVE RGB mouse
The best sword Corsair can offer to a gamer?
For the gamers out there we now offer a review on the all new Corsair Gaming GLAIVE RGB game mouse, the device is sturdy and aesthetically pleasing with configurable RGB LEDs and has a grip that is intensely impressive. the mouse weighs in at 121 grams and is fully programmable. All in all this might be one of the more impressive mouse’s we have tested. Oh hey, and did we mention it has magnetic removable thumb grips already? Yeah. We stated it a couple of times already, but it is very crowded in the PC gaming hardware arena -- especially when it comes to products like headsets, keyboards and mice. Whether you have ten bucks to spend or a hundred there WILL be a product matching that budget. Simple mice, small mice, mice dedicated to games, mice for business usage, mice with multiple scanning lasers, mice with adjustable weight systems, and on and on.
This round Corsair hits back with the GLAIVE RGB, the mouse has been fitted with a custom designed PMW3367 gaming grade optical sensor, and it is rated at 16K DPI. Yep, 16,000 dots per inch And I know, I know .. these DPI values hardly make sense anymore. But granted, after testing it a couple of days we do have to admit this thing is massively precise. To match the new modern theme the mouse was design from ground up to be ergonomically pleasing yet attractive to look at. Next to that the funky d00ds from Corsair did something .. well funky, they've made the thumb rest changeable. And you swap it out in like seconds as they lock into place thanks to small industrial magnets. You get three thumb rests: a smooth, rugged and two rugged rests (sounds weird but I'll show you in the review later on). The Glaive has three-zone RGB color customization that allows for 16.8 million color selection back-lighting per one of the three LED location. The unit advances on that though as its cast is made out of durable and very sturdy uni-body shell. For each application there seems to be a mouse you can purchase, and the fact remains that the majority of mice out there are all simply close to each other. Corsair picked up on the mouse trend several years ago, and their latest addition is this one.
The GLAIVE obviously is targeted at gamers, but obviously works as regular mouse just as well. I've been using it for two days now on my desktop PC. But sure, for gaming it is far more diversified, refined and intricate.
Looking like a bat out of hell, the Corsair Gaming GLAIVE RGB.
This gaming peripheral features a total of six programmable buttons. Have a peek, then have a browse to the next page where we'll review the Corsair Gaming GLAIVE RGB mouse. Will the 69 USD/EUR price tag be worth it with regards to features and functionality? Sure it will, let's find out shall we?
