Obviously the nice advantage for this headset is that it is totally wireless, and with a good range as well; we reached 10~15 meters easily in our WIFI cluttered office (using the same band frequency of 2400 MHz).

The VOID is not at all heavy at around 300g. You'll have to download the drivers from Corsair's site. The drivers are now overhauled and part of their CUE (Corsair Utility Engine) software suite. This means that in the future all Corsair gear can be controlled from just one software suite. Once you plug them in, the headset is in fact plug and play. However, please do install the Corsair CUE suite, as it offers the niche EQ and Surround functionality you'll need.
