The mouse is based on a 16,000 DPI sensor and comes with 8 (macro) programmable positions, it is a little-crowded TBH. The coating is primarily single-textured with a soft plastic/rubber/dimpled feel to the palm rest of it. Not at all uncomfortable, and it won't get slippery when wet or sweaty in your warm hand during an intense gaming session.

The mouse itself has an ergonomic design and feels very nice in my hands, but I do have large hands and notice the palm rest was not always in my palm, the mouse sits a bit higher under your fingers so to say. The mouse has a 127mm x 83mm x 43mm size, it weighs in at 128g, which is fine yet I do miss a bit of weight adjustment, as I like to to be a bit heavier. Also, this is a right-handed mouse if you are a left-handed person, then this is definitely not the mouse for you. On top, the rubber scroll wheel which can be clicked as well (programmable). The two buttons to the far left of the scroll wheel are the select-able DPI switch with several programmable gradations. You can have a DPI selection of your liking, configurable through the software suite. All switches, by the way, are Omron switches, very sensitive and very durable, rated at 50 million clicks. Heck no, I'm not testing the number though!

We see some nice glide skirts at the bottom. Four what seem to be PTFE feet provide good movement of the mouse. The 16K DPI sensor (Pixart 3367) is marked in the dead center of both the horizontal and vertical, which brings a very small learning curve for those who take advantage of high sensitivity and subtle mouse movements rather than your normal linear sweeps. Corsair actually partnered with Pixart to make the 16K version sensor. There’s a switch to toggle Bluetooth or 2.4GHz connections (you’ll need the USB dongle for the 2.4 GHz mode), also there is an on/off switch.

Already shown, but you can use a micro-USB port towards the front for charging or wired mode operation. The USB cable is roughly 2 meters, not rubberized but cloth braided.  We do need to share a few words on battery life, Corsair has fitted this mouse with a 950mAh rechargeable lithium-polymer battery which should offer you roughly 15 hours of gameplay. You can actually extend that up-to 24 hours by selecting a power-saving mode that disables the onboard RGB LEDs.

The mouse has three configurable RGB zones, you can assign one color for all, separated colors, animation what not. This can be as complex or simple as you like it to be.
