Alright, packaging/unboxing first, Crystal Series 280X, yep we received the proper one alright. Standard cardboard with simple black fonts.

The chassis is covered with a layer of plastic and then sits in-between two sheets of styrofoam. The chassis is well protected, we did not stumble into any kind of scratches or damage whatsoever. After unpacking, there it is. You'll notice that the glass panels have extra plastic covers(a plastic layer). What first comes to mind is that the chassis is very relaxing on the eyes, nothing screams out loud logos wise or is overly done.

There she is, it is the familiar dual-chamber design that Corsair also used on the Air 240 series, yet massively improved on that. The chassis will you a lot of room inside to build a pretty awesome LAN box (for a Mini ITX / Micro ATX box). You have a proper 300mm of graphics card space and 180mm of power supply space so you can fit in standard ATX power supplies. Storage goes you have room for two 3.5" hard drives and then another three 2.5" SSDs. Depending on wether you go Micro ATX or Mini ITX, you can install even three 280mm rads (!) (top/front/bottom), two in a worst-case scenario.
