As always we begin with packaging. It's a simple yet informative thing to show as when you purchase a chassis, you probably do not want any defects and scratches on it. The SPEC Omega is packaged in cardboard.

Once you take the unit out of the cardboard box you'll notice two layers of polystyrene protecting the unit, which on its end is covered in a plastic bag. Packaging was done carefully and the chances of damage and risk are minimal thanks to that. the glass side has extra padding as well.

So there it is. Nothing states run of mill chassis here, the angular looks make it so different. As complex as it looks, the design was kept simple, no screaming logos -- subtlety with a simply LED lit (one color RED) stripe at the front side. The dark black design is easy on the eyes. Less is better, and that works out well here. Aside from the interior, the chassis looks different from its other Carbide brothers and sisters. The chassis is made out of a steel base with all dark insides btw.

When we flip around the unit we can see the side panel and back a little better. Again, simple but stylish. The closed-panel can be removed with two thumbscrews, the right side tempered glass has four screws. The size of the chassis is by the way 495mm x 232mm x 516mm. The chassis has multiple mounting points for cooling. An intake and exhaust fan are included, and you can go from there by installing more 120mm or 140mm fans in the front, and two 120mm or 140mm fans on the top panel. The included is a front-mounted SP 120mm LED fan and a rear SP120mm fan. The backside itself reveals 7 card slots as well as the lower PSU compartment.
