When we jump on top we see a closed cover. Since everything is reversed you need to think like that as well. Rads as such can now be mounted at the bottom, front and rear, but not the top. The door is easily opened up as it rests in two hinges. But let's zoom into the top side a little closer.

At the front (or now top) panel side we see the power on switch and LED activity. Connectors wise you'll have USB 3.0 x2, MIC/Headphones. It is nice to see USB 3.0 implemented here as well as a pair of 2.0 connectors. It is a little hard to see, but there is a three step fan controller available as well, props to Corsair for embedding one.

Here we have the right side panel and backside. The Carbide Series 600C includes 140mm Corsair Air Series AF140L intake and exhaust fans. The AF140L is based on the AF140 and provides better airflow performance at lower noise levels than typical case fans. We tested the fans, and yes ... especially at fan controller position 1 (silent) it is nearly inaudible, position 2 can be heard, three becomes too audible. At the backside we see 8 expansion ports, again think flipped around, the rear 140mm fan is now located below and the PSU is mounted up top.

Internals then, since the photos are dark, hang in there with me. First impression at the inside, that's a decent amount of room to work in alright, going deep is the word here. The second thought would be the all black design, including cables and connectors. Great to see are grommet holes or more specifically the black rubber inlays accompanying them to hide cabling, but overall you can make it all really clean and tidy if you use dark wiring. A good and popular trend these days is to make a big gaping hole in the motherboard tray. This actually is a CPU back-plate cutout which allows you to remove and install a new CPU cooler much easier. Typically you'd need to take out the motherboard to install a new cooler, now you can access it from both sides without that unpleasant experience of removing a motherboard from the chassis. The design of Carbide Series 600C is unusual in the sense that it is reversed.
