Product Showcase

As always we begin with packaging. It's a simple yet informative thing to show as when you purchase a chassis, you honestly do not want any defects and scratches on it. The Carbide Series 600C is packaged in cardboard.

Once you take the unit out of the cardboard box you'll notice two layers of polystyrene protecting the unit, which on its end is covered in a cloth bag. Packaging was done carefully and the chances of damage and risk are minimal thanks to that.

Yeah, she's quite a looker ain't she ? Notice that things are flipped around, to the right the motherboard and see-through door slash panel. And yes, that really is a door that can be opened up and closed opposed to removing the entire panel. As intricate as it looks, the design was kept simple, no bright lights and screaming logos, so that is subtlety in full effect. The dark black design is easy on the eyes. Less is better is the trend these days, and that works out well here.

The chassis is made out of a molded ABS plastic accent pieces for the shell and a black coated metal body. As you can see at the front side, it supports (x2) 5.25" behind a hidden door, and internally it comes with 3x 2.5” tool-free, 2x 2.5”/3.5” tool-free. The fantastic size see through panel can be opened up thanks to hinges. I say fantastic as that is what I call a window. When we flip around the unit we can see the left side panel a little better. The fan mount locations (or FML as is my lingo) are:

Fan Front

2x 140mm AF140L fan (only one installed in 600Q; extra fan included in accessory kit)

Fan Rear

1x 140mm AF140L fan

Fan Top

-

Fan Side

-

Rad Bottom

Supports up to 3x 120mm fans or 2x 140mm fans

Rad Front

Up to 240mm/280mm

Rad Rear

Up to 140mm

Rad Bottom

Up to 280mm/360mm

In combination with the meshes at the bottom and intakes at the front there is plenty of airflow. The backside reveals that it has 8 expansion card slots and a rather unusual power supply location to the upper side of that black booty, we'll look at that later though (the PSU mount I meant!). The size of the chassis by the way is 454mm x 260mm x 535mm (17.87” x 10.24” x 21.06”)  (H x W x L)”. The 600C has multiple fan mounting points.

Corsair K70 PRO RGB keyboard review
The Corsair K70 RGB Pro keyboard is the one we’re reviewing today. It’s not the first one from the K70 series checked on guru3d. Previously those were K70 RGB Rapidfire Mk2, also in a low-profile version, and as a TKL, so overall, there shouldn’t be any significant surprise as far as the general concept goes. Corsair K70 RGB Pro takes some K100 RGB and (most of) K70 RGB TKL CHAMPION (already mentioned) features. The suffix “Pro” wasn’t used yet, so probably it was the right time for that.
