So the Carbide 400 series can be found for roughly 99 USD, we do expect that MSRP to drop in etail at roughly 80 EURO. Here's a quick spec and features overview after which we'll dive into the product showcase, we're bringin' in photos man !

The Carbide Series Clear 400C and Quiet 400Q were designed as refined, elegant, and compact ATX chassis with modern layout and features. By removing the 5.25¡¨ ODD bays, the 400 series reduces the footprint of the chassis front to back, and simultaneously improves on cooling since there are no drive bays in the airflow path.

  • Modern, 5.25" drive bay free design for smaller footprint and better airflow to CPU and GPU.
  • Full steel exterior panels
  • Stylish, removable two-piece cover conceals power supply and 3.5in drives
  • Dedicated tool-free 2.5in and 3.5in drive sleds.
  • Dust filters for front and bottom of enclosure
  • Clear 400C includes full side panel window with hinge and one-touch latch mechanism for easy access. The top panel on the 400C is a mesh dust filter that's magnetically attached.
  • Quiet 400Q includes sound dampening material on front, sides, and top panel. On the 400Q, the top panel is a solid color-matched piece with sound damping foam added and is also magnetically attached.

Compatibility

  • ATX, Micro ATX and Mini ATX motherboards
For the Q version that we test the front panel, top panel, and side doors are all lined with noise damping material, and the cleverly designed front intakes help reduce fan noise.  The Carbide Series Clear 400C and Quiet 400Q were designed with the same external aesthetics as the full tower 600 series, but with the goal of being a smaller alternative in the mid-tower range. Despite the smaller size, we had no intention of reducing performance. The 400 series is still exceptionally quiet and remarkably cool thanks to its Direct Airflow Path design.
