Performance - dGPU Gaming with Bioshock Infinite | Tomb Raider

For future CPU and motherboards review we'll be adding two new games in 720P and 1080P as well measured on a dedicated graphics card (GeForce GTX 580). This page for now is just a placeholder for future results. You however can check out the overclocking differential of course.

We test at medium quality settings which is a bit unrealistic with today's dedicated cards, even the GTX 580 used here eats away in high frame-rates.

I deliberately used the Core i7 4770K here in both default and OC (4600). As you can see, the differences are just close to NIL really, and yeah the win goes to 4770K.

Then again, medium image quality settings will never be GPU bound, and this displays CPU and mainboard performance difference really well when something changes in the system, in this case the overclock.
