So then, in many ways the Zero-G looks and feels very familiar to the original Sentinel mouse. The device comes with a scanning resolution of 5600 dpi and an OLED display at the top for you to display your clan tags. Truth be told, the Zero-G is in fact very similar in terms of the specifications.

We spot an improved 5600 DPI Twin-Laser though for increased precision and accuracy. Memory now comes in the form of 128KB Sentinel-X Memory, O-LED for DPI management and custom logo, 8 programmable buttons, 1000Hz polling rate, 1ms response time and max acceleration of 50G.

At the bottom of the mouse you can open up a small latch, here you'll notice the adjustable weight system inside the Zero-G that will allow up to 5 x 4.5g weights to be added.
You will notice that the Zero-G follows a different color-scheme to the original Sentinel gaming mouse. Cooler Master Storm will be using this silver/grey color-scheme to identify premium products in their range.

A good programmable mouse these days comes with a deep software suite, that part was updated as well. The one thing that must be said is that the Sentinel offers a complex and wide variety of control over the settings and functionality of the mouse, and Cooler Master did that really well. Sensitivity ranges, rapid fire modes, macros, and scripts can be edited through a graphical user interface and saved to five different profiles in the internal memory of the mouse. We'll look into the software suite later on in this article though.

With a freaking 5600 DPI mouse it makes sense to use DPI adjustments, and obviously button controlled DPI switching has been introduced to the mouse so you can trigger DPI on the mouse itself.

More fun is of course the little OLED screen, which just looks too damn cool. The little single color OLED screen allows tiny customized clan logos to be uploaded and displayed directly on the mouse itself, tiny though... you have 42 pixels available for this. We've already mentioned this in the introduction, much like most gaming mice these days the Sentinel Advance also has a weight system, which lets you fine-tune the total weight of your mouse in increments of 4.5 grams.

For this mouse CM teamed up with FutureMark and made a Shattered Horizon edition, you will receive a game trial along with it. But still, next to being an excellent mouse the coolest thing has to be the fact that Cooler Master integrated a little OLED screen inside the mouse...
