Alright, let's get started with this review. So the CM Storm Inferno according to Cooler master will be best suited for playing MMO games (massively multiplayer online games). Why that deliberate focus ? No clue, likely marketing differentiation but it sure is handy as it relates to the fact that the mouse comes with eleven buttons. These buttons include Rapid Fire and Storm Tactics Multiplier keys, nine are fully programmable and combined with the on-board 128KB memory you can multiply button functions somewhat in the way you are used to your function keys. You can load up each button with a preset of game profiles and mouse settings. All that on a response time of less than 1ms.

The mouse itself got equipped with a 4,000 DPI twin laser sensor by the way.

The CM Storm Inferno was designed from the ground up to be a gaming mouse with MMOs in mind. With no less than 11 buttons, nine of which are programmable, you have access to everything you need just a simple click away. In addition, with a lift-off distance of 2mm, 1000Hz polling, 1ms response time and a max speed of 115 inches per second and you have a well rounded gaming mouse. The Inferno has also been ergonomically designed for maximum comfort over extended periods of time. The CM Storm Inferno is built for winners, no matter the game, states the official press release.
Like all gaming gear, the newcomer will sell for quite a bit more than your ordinary mice, in this case roughly $60. The Inferno will become available half August 2010.
