Control Software

Much like any keyboard or peripheral these days, it comes along with an extensive software suite. Cooler Master's one is called Portal and offers five primary tabs with functionality ranging from the Aimpad to RGB and Macros and profiles. The UI is clear and easy to use, maybe not the most extensive compared to other brands in this field. You get to use options like configuring both the lighting portions of the keyboard as well as creating powerful actions such as macros, re-mappable key assignments, and more. At startup, the software will check your KB firmware first and offer you the option to update and upgrade (which you should do of course).

While writing this review, the official Portal software was not compatible, but we downloaded a Portal-like software that provided the same functionality. Below some screenshots. I like the wireless options btw, you can teak a bit on preserving power usage efficiency this way.
