The front bezel has a door that can be opened, it closes with the help of a little magnet. It feels sturdy yet behind it we immediately run into noise dampening foam. This keeps away the  noise originating from the louder components and the HDD cages.

If we zoom in a little we spot a 3.5" HDD hotswap X-dock. Here you can slide in your HDD, at the backside all you need to do is connect some wiring towards the SATA port on your motherboard and one power lead. We'll show you that later of course.

Once the door is open you'll have access towards three visible 5.25" devices of which one is that X-dock. The peripherals can be installed tool-free. You simply open the door, slide them in and secure them with an hinge.

The Silencio includes two 800 rpm silent fans (supports up to three 120mm fans), a latch can be removed which functions as dust filter with behind it a mesh grill covering the HDD bays.

This is the left side of the chassis, nothing to show you really, but we take photo's of all angles. Closed, no meshes, gaps or vents. This is all done to keep the noise level down.
