So this is the front facing side. We just removed that right side cover/shield. We now have an HDD area and power supply cage exposed. Before we show you the mounting of the PSU, let me quickly show you how you could mount an HDD. Mind you due to its design it is not possible to mount optical devices like DVD-ROM etc.

So basically you mount an HDD or SSD this way at this location. Four screws and rubberized mounts will secure it. It cannot resonate. An extra shield (which we just removed) then hides the HDD/SSD again for the bigger part. What's very interesting is that HDD brackets can be moved towards the front, behind the Bezel so that you'd never ever see it.

BTW on the backside, there is space for two additional SSDs like shown above. In total, you could house four of them. This is your standard screw design to mount them. Hey, I have no problem with that whatsoever.

Once we remove the PSU bay (mounted to the front side with thumbscrews) you can finally start to see how that works out. let me just quickly grab a PSU and show you:

Here a PSU is inserted, it can be a fairly large one as well as you can extend the size of the cage. It draws cold air from the chassis, and the mesh side of the PSU (where the on/off switch is located) will exhaust, this will follow the path of the chimney airflow, that works out well+ the PSU is completely hidden once it is installed.

Here you can see that, once you mount it back, the cabling exits at the lower grommet hole. The entire procedure is not very user-friendly installation wise, also if you ever need to add or remove a cable(s), well .. that's just quite a bit of a hassle to accomplish as you will need to re-do this entire procedure. On a more positive side, it gets shielded and it looks great. If you have never seen this chassis before, you WILL wonder where the PSU resides.
