Cooler Master MasterCase SL600M review -
Product Showcase - Exterior
The MasterCase SL600M has a very distinguished somewhat stealth looking design with the sharply curved angles. The black inner body and side panels are made out of steel. The Cooler Master MasterCase SL600M has a size of 620 x 327 x 667mm (L x W x H) and weighs just 5.5 kg. Motherboard form factors supported are ATX, microATX, Mini-ITX. E-ATX is supported, yet limited at 12"x10.7" and that will limit cable routing features. I'd advise a maximum motherboard size at ATX, and not EATX or XL-ATX in mind. Eye-catching is the thin vent on the corners of the case provide ventilation. Pop the top and front panels up slightly for even more cooling options or simply different (dark) look.
This chassis comes with a nice glass side panel (standard thus not an optional), tempered glass. A quick peek at the backside teaches us that this is a serious piece of machinery as even that bezel at the rear can be removed. On the top mounts for fans can be found. At the backside, we see 7+2 expansion slots, so dual-slot cards to be set up in Crossfire or SLI mode. The PSU area has its own compartment in the front side of the chassis, if that already confused you, we'll check that out more in-depth later in the article.
Lines and angles everywhere giving the chassis a bit of a stealth fighter look. The chassis has removable dust filters (top, front, bottom) for improved system maintenance. The design is subtle, doesn't scream in terms of logos/branding/lights etc. I do like this.
Today, we are reviewing two air coolers from Cooler Master: MasterAir MA624 Stealth and MA612 Stealth ARGB. Usually, we had a chance to check the AIO solutions from them, so now it's a good opportunity to study what we can achieve more standardly. This will also be a nice occasion to present two types of cooling architecture, as the MA612 Stealth ARGB is a single-tower, and MA624 Stealth is a dual-tower
