At the top and front right and left sides, close to the bezel, you can see the air-intake meshes. The side panel is made out of nice thick metal, powder coated. The top side is tempered glass and, yeah, it's reflective madness in my all-white photo studio, sorreeh!

All the way up-top the front panel features a utility / IO panel on the top that includes USB 3.0 Type A x 4 and USB 3.1 Type-C x 1, Audio In & Out (supports HD Audio) as well as a power button. Much like on the Cosmos, the IO panel is exposed. Some like that and others do not; the previous model, for example, had a latch to cover up a thing or two. I am fine with that but also realize that dust can be collected in the USB ports at this specific angle. Located in red, that's not a reset button, no sir, press it and you'll run the RGB lighting system (front fans) through multiple cycles of animations, colors or just a static (primary) color and yep... even off. It is nice to see that CM has been listening to my remarks. You may also hook up the fans to a LED strip connector on your motherboard to control with ASUS/MSI/Gigabyte software, of course.

We quickly move back to the top, as the upper side can be removed. Just grab the back side and pull it upwards and you can access the fans/radiator or whatever you'd like to do there. 120mm, 140mm, 240mm, 280mm, 360mm (maximum thickness clearance 43mm) can be installed there, nice!

The front side of the Cosmos H500M has a removable front as well, at the bottom side you can pull it towards you. Mind you, there's no space for an optical storage unit. The default front comes with a mesh for heaps of airflow, but as shown in the photo you could also install that tempered glass panel. Since I am in a reflective HELL photography wise, I'll leave that default mesh in place if you don't mind, okay?

I swear, this thing can quite possibly propel me under water... :-)
