The Build

Right the fun package. It is time to gather some gear and build us a PC. I am not going extraordinary with extensive and custom liquid cooling etc. We'll be building a system that you guys would build at home. Cooler Master however was a bit keen that we didn't use components from some of the competitors, hence they shipped a box with some extra fans, LCS (Liquid Cooling System) and PSU. Sure, we'll use them :)

You will quickly learn that due to the lower PSU compartment the motherboard size is restricted to ATX only. Yes initially I prepped the X99 Godlike from MSI. No bueno sir as it will not fit (EATX). Ah well, every advantage has a disadvantage right? ASUS Z97 Maximum Hero it is. We just mounted the PSU and motherboard here.

We are replacing all stock fans from the chassis and LCS with some JetFlo 120 mm fans from Cool Master, mainly for the bling factor as they have blue LEDs.

Once prepped we can see why the Pro model is called just that, you can hide the radiator so extremely well. The good thing about this design is that the radiator can be nice and thick as well bringing you that little extra performance which you will need as the radiator size is limited to 280 mm at maximum.

Quick check, yep... she's still posting. Initially I wanted to go all Guru3D blue with the MSI X99 Godlike motherboard, but since we had to revert to ASUS there will be some red colored LEDs in there as well.
