Cooler Master MasterCase 5 (Pro) review - Product Showcase - Exterior

The Cooler Master MasterCase 5 (Pro), has a very distinguished somewhat stealth radar deflecting design. The front bezel is plastic with a removable mesh though. The black body and side panels are made out of steel. The Cooler Master MasterCase 5 (Pro) and has a modest size of 235x512x548 mm. Motherboard form factors supported are: ATX, microATX, Mini-ITX. So again, the maximum motherboard size that'll fit is ATX, this is a little small for some of you I guess.

As you can see the base model does not come with a windows side panel. On the inside there are a several fans which we'll show you in a minute. A quick peek at the backside teaches us that this is a serious piece of machinery. On the top mounts for extra fans can be found. At the backside we see 7 expansion slots, so dual-slot cards to be set up in Crossfire or SLI mode. All the way below we see the PSU section. PSU wise, you name it... it'll fit as the PSU area has its own compartment in the lower base of the chassis. Brilliant for storage needs and housing / hiding cable.

At the top the traditional handrails / bars can be found which makes it more easy to carry the chassis around. To the other side another side panel can be opened up easily. Lines in steep angles everywhere giving the chassis a bit of a stealth fighter look. The chassis has multiple removable dust too filters (top, front, bottom, side panel) for improved system maintenance. The design is subtle, not screams in terms of logos / branding / lights etc. I do like this.
