Cooler Master Hyper 212 plus review -
Final Words & Conclusion
The Verdict,
You know there's only so much you can say or write about heatpipe based CPU coolers these days. Really bad ones do not exist anymore. So from a decent design a manufacturer always need to move forward and improve it's features and aesthetics. Cooler Master is doing this by constantly making intricate little changes that help improve the overall compatibility and quality. With the Hyper 212 Plus they definitely succeeded.
As such let me sum up some things that have been improved over the original design. First of, this cooler is much more quiet, which we like very much. Overall, the performance is good and might be even improved over the initial model thanks to the new cooling fan and CPU block. That fan is noise dampened by a little rubber struts. Simple yet quite effective, this cooler really shines at being silent.
The new mounting design for Intel based processors is relatively easy to install and use however, once again your motherboard needs to come out of the chassis which remains a culprit in my eyes.
What will be the next step for Cooler Master ? Well probably the overall design, from an aesthetic point of view can be improved here and there. I mean heatpipe based cooler slowly are starting to look all the same, meaning a maximum design point in the evolution of heatpipe coolers has been reached. Mark my words and look for example what Zalman is doing with their new coolers, this will be the new trend for CPU coolers. This market is fierce and competitive. And you as an end user profit from that greatly.
So overall we like what we see very much. Priced at roughly 30 EUR / 35 USD you'll get a lot of cooling performance and an easy to use and install CPU cooler. There really is very little wrong with this product, and as such it comes very much recommended by Guru3D.com, but remember .. to install it your motherboard needs to come out of your chassis
Other than that, well done Cooler Master.

Today, we are reviewing two air coolers from Cooler Master: MasterAir MA624 Stealth and MA612 Stealth ARGB. Usually, we had a chance to check the AIO solutions from them, so now it's a good opportunity to study what we can achieve more standardly. This will also be a nice occasion to present two types of cooling architecture, as the MA612 Stealth ARGB is a single-tower, and MA624 Stealth is a dual-tower
