The HAF 912 rears its head, marketed as the mid-range HAF (High Air Flow) chassis. An enthusiast audience targeted chassis that will keep your expensive components cooled down well, with a very user-friendly but extremely aesthetically pleasing design we might add.

So then, next to the aforementioned features, other items include 7+1 expansion slots, a black coating. Handy as always it has a hole in the motherboard tray, to make it easy to install CPU coolers with back plates. Now, we mentioned two models, the regular and the Plus edition. The main differences are the fact that the fan on the front has a LED light for the PLUS model and what we like very much, an all-black interior adorns the PLUS model as well. That alone is worth the extra tenner right there. Actually, here in the Netherlands it boils down to a 5 EUR difference.

There is one more small difference, the PLUS model also has an eSATA connector on the frontpanel. The rest is all the same.

Cooler Master - An evolved version of our CM 690 II modular hard drive bay design is present in the HAF 912. This new design allows the hard drive cage to be removed and rotated to the left 90 degrees.

A very fun detail is that the upper portion of the hard drive cage is removable and can be rotated 90 degrees. Hard drives can be oriented facing front to back, or side to side depending on hardware compatibility and user preference. Several options become available when the hard drive cage is detached. The 2.5 hard drive cage can be relocated to the top of the fixed 3.5 hard drive cage on the bottom to make room for power supplies over 8.5. After removing the upper hard drive bays, the newly freed up space allows long graphics cards such as the ATI Radeon HD5970 and nVIDIA Geforce GTX 480 to fit without problems.

Meshed paneling on the top, front, and bottom assist the fans in removing excess heat from your precious components and dust filters have been strategically placed on fan inlet spaces on the front and bottom of the case to prevent dust from entering the system. They are easily removable to allow for speedy maintenance.

Cooler Masters HAF 912 further enriches the HAF series by adding a compact, yet fully featured, mid-tower solution for enthusiasts and budget conscious gamers alike. Its seemingly small exterior supports a plethora of interior features such as twelve devices, high end GPU graphics cards, large CPU coolers. The Cooler Master HAF 912 Plus will hover around 79 Euro price wise.
