Product Showcase - The Build
Right; well .. left actually but let's start the first light tests. Looking at the top if you are as old as I am, the style somehow reminds of a Cylon from Battlestar Galactica, the original 1978 TV series. Here you can see the chassis finalized a little better. It looks a little thinner in the photo than it is in reality. The LED configuration really is a lot of fun. Again you can opt to use the internal controller (included) or connect it towards your compatible motherboard to control it on the software side of things.
So the top and bottom have LED strips. Topside, the controller: You can control the fans and tie more of them to that little PCB, there are two empty fan jacks. LEDs wise the controller shows that one extra LED strip can be connected. Both feel a little limited.
First looks powered on. Mind you that all fans are and can be PWM controlled, so if your motherboard allows it, you can control the fan RPM. Overall the chassis will produce a low to normal noise level if you keep all fans at a low rotation, and that will offer enough airflow. But silent it simply is not.
The tempered glass is tinted with a black coating. It's no fun to photograph in a white studio, on the next page we'll show you some better quality photos though in another location.
