We arrive at the day 4 publication of the Guru3D Computex 2008 report. I can tell you, this place is wicked, weird and awesome all together. And at any point, you just do not know what or who you'll run into. But anyhow, let's visit the AMD booth and see what they have to offer.

AMD was very much present at Computex, also a major sponsor of this event. They surely had a lot of good stuff on display. Among it a photo I had on the the upcoming AMD 790GX + SB750 boards, and yes I said had .. because for whatever reason. The photo failed. Boohoo. Above a photo showing the business class PCs, a new strategy recently released. Though not interesting for our reader-base.

We were hoping that AMD would show of the new Radeon 4000 series of cards, and though some partners showed it to me behind the scenes, I was simply just not allowed to take photo's. So AMD definitely did not have it on display either.

AMD Turion based notebooks. Incredible small design, light-weight. Very sexy. There were some other models showing the more interesting stuff, internally Puma based design, Turion X2 Ultra (Turion X2 Ultra processor, AMD M780G chipset and 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi).

Slightly annoying, this gang consisting of supposedly the AMD army, or whatever was consistently drilling through the exhibition halls, all fricken day long man. I mean, do that with 10 scarcely dressed babes if you want to impress me ;)
