The Ampere series is going to replace the Turing lineup, which will fade out of the market as these new cards sit right on top of their prices, yet are much faster. So what will the 3090 Replace? Well noting, as the 2080 Ti already was dominated by the RTX 3080 and that one 'only' had 8704 stream/Shader processors.

  • The reference 3090 cards have a peak boost clock up-to 1.70 GHz, with the base clock hovering in the 1.40 GHz domain.

Colorful will include an optional to use bracket preventing the card from sagging down when installed horizontally.  Click the button on the side and the power limiter gets a bit more leash with tweaking. Colorful has set the thermal limit for the iGame GeForce RTX 3090 Kudan to 500W in that stage (when manually increasing the power limiter). That's 43% (150W) higher than Nvidia's reference specifications for the GeForce RTX 3090.  The One-Key OC buttonpushes boost clocks to 1860MHz.

As stated, Kudan has a hybrid cooling system, so both air cooling and water cooling. The air cooling consists of a heatsink with three fans and six 6mm heat pipes, a back plate with another heatsink, and three 90mm fans. The water cooler is a 240 mm radiator.

The iGame GeForce RTX 3090 Kudan boasts the distinctive Golden Gears, a black and gray appearance, with a gold accent. You'll need to connect three 8-pin power headers.
