Day 1 Continued
Thermaltake Technologies (http://www.thermaltake.com) had a few running systems up, housed on their Xaser III line of cases. They also had a few systems running their new compact water cooling unit, the Aquarius II.
Seen above, the installed Aquarius II.
It fits perfectly on their Xaser line of cases. The main water pump sits at the bottom of the case, and a reservoir is located outside near the power supply unit (makes it easy to fill it up with water, without having to crack open the case.
The external water reservoir, located near the Power supply unit, it can be mounted anywhere outside of the case.
Copper Radiator
You can see the 80mm fan attached to the radiator.
The radiator is only a little bigger than an 80mm fan, and there is one attached to it. It is also made of copper. It also has a water block that fits k7s k8s and P4s.
The water pump can be powered by your existing power supply via a 12v connector (those 4-pin connectors), which eliminates the need for an extra power supply or, plugging in your water pump via an external source. What was interesting was that most of Thermaltakes visitors were drawn in by their Aquarius equipped PCs as this was the first time they have seen a water cooled system.
They also displayed their upcoming 15 Flat Panels, which go nicely with their keyboards, and mice. (All color keyed to match the Xaser cases; these are Blue, Black, and Silver). The Flat Panel had a Neon glow surrounding it. It would look nice if you already have a Xaser series case, and match it all up with the flat panel, keyboard, and mouse. And to round off Thermaltakes un-cooler line, was their 3 piece speaker system (2 satellites, and a subwoofer). I couldnt really judge how it sounded (ambient noise was pretty loud), but it matched the rest of their X products very well. It only comes in silver. The Flat Panel and speaker system will be released sometime during the year. The keyboard and mouse are already available.
You can see Tts new speaker, and flat panel products, as well as their keyboard and mouse.
Lastly, they had their latest Hardcano on display (so new, they didnt have time to put their name on it). Aside from the usual temperature monitoring, USB and Fire wire ports, and audio inputs, it now sports memory card slots. It will be available later this year as well.
Tts new Hardcano
The rest of their product line (various heat sinks, cases, temperature monitors, and such) was also on display.
Thermaltakes Hardcanos and Xview 5.25 drive bay mods
Heat sinks, heat sinks, heat sinks.
Lights!
Giant II video card heatsink, Ducting mod (to angle the fan on your cpu heatsink fan) and the light mod for fans.
