A quick stop at gigabyte learned us they where showing of NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 480, though totally hidden inside the chassis. Users where able to try out the rocket sled demo.

Here we see the upcoming high-end R587SO. GV-R587SO-1GD running apparently at 1000/5200 MHz. Thus, this is second after MSI series Radeon HD 5870, which promises to work at the core frequency 1 GHz. This video card will appear late March. The PCB uses Gigabyte's Ultra Durable VGA construction which makes use of a PCB with 2 oz copper layer, ferrite core chokes, low RDS (on) MOSFETs, and Japanese solid-state capacitors. The VGA cooler consists of a GPU base from which four copper heat pipes convey heat to aluminum fin blocks cooled by two 90 mm fans.

Gigabyte AMD 890GX mainboard GA-890GPA-UD3H with USB3 and SATA3 (6Gbps) support based on the upcoming AMD 890GX chipset. This chipset will support the upcoming Thuban 6 core processor. The board South bridge will include SATA3 (6Gbps) no USB 3.0 support yet. The boards have CrossFireX support, and include onboard DX10.1 capable video at 700MHz utilizing UVD2 (Unified Video Decoder) with support for Hybrid CrossFire.  There are 4 DIMM slots, 1394, GbE, 8 ch audio support on this board too. At the back panel, we see 6 USB ports (2 in blue), PS2/Keyboard/Mouse, D-SUB, DVI-D, HDMI, SP/DIF, 1394 and GbE ports.
