EnerMax
Enermax
Alright then, the first exhibition Hall we enter we stumble into Enermax, the guys behind the scrumptious Galaxy power supplies. One of the new PSUs soon to be released will be their Revolution series. The Revolution 85+ series comes in four different wattages: 850W, 950W, 1050W, and even... 1250W.
Enermax uses DC-to-DC circuitry to create all of the lower voltage rails, something normally done with a transformer. Long story short, we'll make sure to review a unit once they can send a sample. A very promising new PSU series with some daunting new specifications which we'll explain in that review.
Here we see a new Liberty ECO 80+ model. With silent fan, DXX ready (8-pin PCIe graphics card connectors). The new Liberty ECO series from Enermax comes to replace their popular Liberty DXX series, featuring a modular cabling system, 120-mm fan, active PFC and labeled at 40º C - i.e., the manufacturer guarantees that the unit can deliver its labeled power at this temperature.
The main problem with the Liberty DXX series was efficiency, which dropped below 80% if you pulled more than 60% of the unit's maximum load, this is now a thing of the past.
Enermax is going bling for sure as well as they are introducing a new line of Apollo fans. The fans will be available in 8cm, 9cm and 12cm and yes yes... has a patented LED arrangement that provides up to 15 individual LED lights.
Though the photo's slightly bad... these are some of the brightest looking fans I've ever seen.
Definitely worth pimping a rig with these things... and trust me, they look much better than the photo shows.
