I had a brief appointment with Candice at Albatron which certainly had an impressive line-up off products available. Al newer maninboards where on display among them a PX915G Pro working sample bases on integrated Grantsdale chipset.

Most product that where on display however you already know about as we handle a lot of Albatron's product here on Guru3D.com, a fantastic company with really high-quality products.

DSC03953.jpgQuite funny to see was the GeForce FX 5700P model (non ultra) which has a really funny looking cooling solution. The Ultra/Turbo versions are of course equipped with wisefan technology as can see in our Albatron reviews.

Albatron also demonstrated something new they where working on. It's just a funny gadget that I wanted to show you, This is the Widio, basically this means Wireless Audio. it's a small wireless device that broadcasts on the 2.4 GHz band @ 2Mbit/sec. You can connect to towards for example your DVD, CD, MP3 Player, PC or even XBox for all I care and then broadcasts that signal to the range available, roughly 100 Meters. Within that range you'll have CD audio quality. You can use small headphones or whatever you want on it and enjoy music throughout the house.
which in essence is different compared to IR headphones that common and widely available. There's some sort of light-weight nokia battery in the device that charges fast and lasts 3-4 hours of music. Will this product be a success ? I really don't know. It's funny to observe though as I'm a sucker for innovation.
