The most important aspect of a power supply nowadays is the amount of power it can deliver, at minimum you should always choose for 300 Watts, 350 is recommended, 400 is great and everything higher is recommended for real High-end system with the fastest processors and graphics cards in SLI.

BTW the 12 volt rails here is 14 AMP, so don't use this power supply in combination with a high end graphics card as it is not sufficient. That's a pretty low number.

Let's see what your average PC nowadays uses. Take a Pentium 4 2.8 GHz with a GeForce 6600 GT or Radeon x800 GT, one HD, a DVD-ROM and CD Writer. When windows boots it'll use up no more than 120-130 Watts. The minute when the processor, graphics card, HD and optical drives all are actually 100% used your wattage will rise to about 220 Watts. That still leaves plenty of room to play around. However for every additional HD or optical drive you'll need to add 10 Watts and that's where the problem nowadays is. With a similar system like above, playing games your used wattage will be 250-260 Watts.

Do you have a dual CPU based rig? That'll cost you about an extra 80 Watts including additional cooling. Therefore always choose a PSU with plenty of 'breathing' space for future upgrades and devices.

The Calmer PSU has a very nice feature called PFC. To put it in simple terms, Active PFC PSUs are more expensive and from a power consumption point of view more efficient. Power Factor Correction (PFC) allows power distribution to operate at its highest efficiency. There are two types of PFC, Active PFC and Passive PFC. This PSU has active PFC. Active PFC uses a circuit to correct power factor, Active PFC is able to generate a theoretical power factor of over 95%. Active Power Factor Correction also markedly diminishes total harmonics, automatically corrects for AC input voltage, and is capable of a full range of input voltage. Since Active PFC is the more complex method of Power Factor Correction, it is more expensive to produce an Active PFC power supply.
