Visual Image Quality
The game uses a heavily modified version of the old IW 3D Game engine used previously in the series. The game was first announced in 2014 when Activision announced that Infinity Ward, Treyarch, and Sledgehammer would all be developing Call of Duty games on a three year cycle instead of two as with previous installments. According to a press release, it will feature "vibrant current-generation visuals, with fully improved texture resolution and detail, high-dynamic range lighting, lit and shadowing VFX particles, revamped animation and audio, stunning sound, and much more."
Call of Duty Infinite Warfare will run on 64-bit only with Windows 7 or 8. The PC version of the shooter will require at least a Intel Core i3-3225. Minimum VGA requirements are a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 @ 2GB / ATI Radeon HD 7850 @ 2GB. Also this one, 8 GB system memory. Considering that Infinity Ward’s PC ports haven’t been the top of the line you should not expect as many customisation options as Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 - which was one of the better PC ports in the series. Graphics option available are texture quality, texture filtering, lighting quality, effects, post-process, mesh, terrain, undergrowth, anti-aliasing and ambient occlusion as well as some upscaling functions.
