DirectX 11 class graphics card performance Ultra HD and Super Sampling

Untitled-3

The mother of all resolutions for PC gamers anno 2014 we feel is Ultra HD which is 3840x2160. A perfect blend of a nice 32" monitor versus nice pixel density is what that is all about. We feel that your gaming experience starts best with a Radeon R9 280X of for NVIDIA a GeForce GTX 780, upwards cards will make ya giggle. Again, we opted for good image quality settings, but framerates will bounce up and down differently each time you load up the game. So again, please see these charts as a performance indication.

What about Super Sampling ?

If you like to boost graphics quality then COD will allow you to super-sample. Basically the card renders at a higher resolution while displaying it at say your 1920x1080 screen. Super sampling is an excellent feature to bump up image quality, but at the cost of performance of course. COD now allows you to super-sample from 2 towards a crazy 16x.

8x Super Sampling + HBAO enabled with 2x SMAA

Unfortunately the JPEG compression completely messes up the details here. My advice, go play with it a bit. If you have the extra performance at hand, then you will really like this extra quality that super sampling can bring to the table.

But again, Super Sampling comes at tremendous performance differentials. You'd be best at 2 or 4x SS. The above card used was the 6 GB Geforce GTX Titan Black.
