DirectX 11 class graphics card performance 1600x1200 | 1920x1200

DirectX 11 class graphics card performance up-to Full HD

So we start off with a monitor resolution of 1600x1200 - again all tests have the best quality settings enabled and 2xMSAA enabled and HBAO+ as well, which brings a very nice quality to the renderd scenes.

We measure performance in the 'Struck Town' level, this is the level as shown above in the screenshot. Now bare in mind that I opted to test at great image quality settings. You can easily gain more performance by lowering your quality settings okay ? Also most other levels will be less harsh and thus provide better framerates. This is the complication with this title. Everything jumps up and down real fast per level and interaction.

Our scores are average framerates so you need to take a margin in mind for lower FPS at all times. As such we say 40 FPS for this game should be your minimum, while 60 FPS (frames per second) can be considered optimal. But does anybody on a modern age PC really play games at this very low resolution? Heck no, let's move onwards.

In more civilized 1920x1200 (lets call it slightly better than Full HD ok?) monitor resolutions you'll notice that the numbers are already start crumbling down a bit. Keep that 40 FPS minimum in mind as you want a little reserve. A GeForce GTX 760 would be optimal for the money in this resolution and on team Reds' side a 270X or 280X would be great. The mighty Radeon HD 7990 caves in, Crossfire did not kick in. Once the drivers will support it we expect it to have leading class performance though. And the Geforce GTX 690 .. yup it works nicely !
