Borderlands 3 for PC benchmarked
PC graphics performance/analysis review for Windows 10 PC with 30 graphics cards

Borderlands 3 is back for PC. Borderlands 3 is the fourth (yes!) main and fifth overall entry in Gearbox Software's Borderlands game series, taking place approximately five years after the events of Borderlands 2 and four years after the end of Tales from the Borderlands.

The game introduces four new playable characters: Amara the Siren, FL4K the Beastmaster, Moze the Gunner, and Zane the Operative, who start out as new recruits for Lilith's Crimson Raiders and are subsequently tasked with investigating the Children of the Vault cult and their mysterious leaders, the Calypso twins Tyreen and Troy. The Vault Hunters will board the Sanctuary III and, for the first time in the series history, adventure outside of the Pandoran system as they track down clues and acquire precious loot. Familiar faces abound on board the ship, including Claptrap, Moxxi, and Ellie. The game uses a bit of cell shading and brings in that cartoonish feel and storyline, you need to like that. if you do, it's good. Gears 5 is looking to be something very promising, the game has had a nice graphics overhaul now being solely DX12 tied. The game port shows proper PC support alongside a really proper set of image quality options.

Both AMD and NVIDIA have a compatible and optimized driver, which really shows in perf. We take a look at the game in our usual in-depth ways. That would be tested on the PC gaming wise relative towards graphics card performance with the latest AMD/NVIDIA graphics card drivers. Multiple graphics cards are being tested and benchmarked. We have a look at performance with the newest graphics cards and technologies. Multiple graphics cards are being tested and benchmarked with the latest cards such as the GeForce GTX 10 and RTX 20 (Super) series included as well as the latest Radeon RX series 500, Vega, VII and series 5700 graphics cards. You are going to need a reasonably modern PC with at least a mainstream graphics card to run the game nicely. We test with the game based on the final release for PC / Windows from this week, all patched up combined with latest AMD Radeon and Nvidia GeForce drivers.

This article will cover benchmarks in the sense of average framerates, we'll look at all popular resolutions scaling from Full HD (1920x1080/1200), WQHD (2560x1440) and of course Ultra HD. UHDTV (2160p) is 3840 pixels wide by 2160 pixels tall (8.29 megapixels), which is four times as many pixels as 1920x1080 (2.07 megapixels).  We test with the game based on the optimized and available AMD Radeon Adrenalin Edition driver (download) and for Nvidia their GeForce WHQL driver (download). We'll test the game on the PC platform relative towards graphics card performance with the AMD/NVIDIA graphics card drivers.
